First transnational coordinators meeting of GLOCAL project

First transnational coordinators meeting of GLOCAL project (kick-off meeting) took place in Madrid since 8th to 11th of October 2019.
The hosts of the meeting were Maria Aurora Flórez de la Colina and Pilar Cristina Izquierdo Gracia – project coordinators on the part of ETSEM-UPM (Universidad Politecnica de Madrid). The Białystok University of Technology (BUT) was represented by project coordinators: Dorota Gawryluk and Dorota Krawczyk as well as teachers Marta Baum and Maciej Kłopotowski. The University from Klaipeda KVK (Klaipėdos valstybinė kolegija – Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences) was represented by coordinators Dainora Jankauskiene and Egle Brezgyte as well as teachers Lina Kukliene and Indrius Kuklys. Selected teachers from ETSEM-UPM also took part in the meeting and will take part in the project, among others Mercedes Vailente López and Alberto Sepulcre Aguilar. Dolores Ajates- International Relations Officer at “Vicerrectorado de Estrategia Académica e Internacionalización” of “Universidad Politécnica de Madrid” and Dorota Krawczyk (BUT) – coordinator of the project “Vipskills – Virtual and Intensive Course Developing Practical Skills of Future Engineers (Erasmus+ 2016-1-PL01-KA203-026152)” shared their rich experience in running Erasmus + projects.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss organizational and substantive issues. We agreed on the division of tasks among project partners in concern for the quality of the project intellectual results. We have set the task schedule – dates for staff trainings and summer schools. The next meeting will take place during the e-learning training course in March 2020 in Bialystok. Then we will discuss the progress of work on the English-Polish-Spanish-Lithuanian technical dictionary and the first versions of teaching materials.
