7th Podlasie Meetings with Landscape Architecture (16/12/2022) (E1)

On December 16, 2022, the next 7th edition of PODLASKIE MEETINGS WITH LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE took place entitled “Green roofs, green stops – Glocal, Erasmus+ project results”. The event disseminating the results of the Glocal, Erasmus+ project was held in Białystok at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of the Białystok University of Technology, ul. Wiejska 45 e, from 10:00 to 14:00 in Aula C (WBiNŚ).
The 7th Podlaskie Meetings took the form of an international conference. They consisted of two parts: training and disseminating the results of the Glocal, Erasmus+ project. As part of the promotion of the results of the Glocal project, the guests of the event were familiarized with the effects of cooperation between 3 European universities: Białystok University of Technology – the leader and coordinator of the project, and partner universities: Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania) and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain). The effects of cooperation between lecturers and students of an international consortium were presented. The training part concerned the topic of the latest implementations of the DÖRKEN Membranes company and the technical solutions used by it for green roofs and green sheds and other solutions for sustainable urban development offered by FPP Enviro sp. z o.o.
The event was attended by over 150 people, representatives of local municipal authorities, professional associations of designers of various industries, active designers, foreign guests, lecturers and teachers, high school and university students.
There was a live broadcast of the event on FB Glocal, Erasmus+. Information about the event was provided by Radio Białystok and Radio Akadera, as well as by the media patron, the monthly “Zielen Miejska”.
The organizers of the event are the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of the Białystok University of Technology and the Podlasie Branch of SPAK with the support of project partners.
