The second part of the Glocal 1 (C5) and Glocal 2 (C7) summer schools took place on September 12-24, 2022 in Madrid (according to the agenda) – agenda (152 KB)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In each of the schools, 8 students from BUT, UPM and KVK took part in the classes. In total, there were 32 foreign students from Lithuania and Poland and 16 students from Spain in Madrid. This made it possible to integrate students more widely than in Bia\u0142ystok and Klaipeda. Students participated in lectures, projects and laboratories conducted by Spanish, Lithuanian and Polish lecturers. The students were acquainted with the didactic possibilities of UPM, they visited numerous laboratories of this university, including the Museum of Construction. Moreover, as part of the summer school, workshops and study visits to Madrid were held f.e. to ACCIONA and Empresa Municipal de Transportes de Madrid – EMT . Students participated in study trips to various places in Madrid related to the development of public spaces (Quadro Torres area, modern housing estates, city parks) and adapting them to the needs of people with disabilities (Typhlological Museum in Madrid). The summer school was accompanied by additional integration meetings, cultural events, i.e. a visit to the Prado Museum, Museo de Soroja, a walk around the Retiro Park, around Royal Palace and a trip to Segovia.<\/p>\n
